2024 Indy Classic returns to Gainbridge Fieldhouse

The 2024 Indy Classic, an annual college basketball doubleheader, takes place Dec. 14 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.& This year’s showcase features four teams: Purdue will face Texas A&M, while Butler will go head-to-head against Wisconsin.& Organized by Indiana Sports Corp in collaboration with Pacers Sports & Entertainment, the Indy Classic became a hallmark event, combining top-tier basketball with community support.& Proceeds from the event benefit Indiana Sports Corp’s nonprofit initiatives, which bolster youth programs and community engagement through sports.& Purdue University women’s basketball head coach Katie Gearlds and Butler University women’s basketball head coach Austin Parkinson displayed immense amount of respect for one another and their team during the Women’s Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) at Hinkle Fieldhouse on March 25, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
