By Susan JohnsonCommunications ChairThe Cincinnati NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner will be held this year on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. at the Sharonville Convention Center.Tickets are on sale now, and the cost is $95 per person. The dinner will include honors of annual Awardees and an array of entertainment. We are extremely excited that this year’s group of awardees are leading the charge in our communities.The designated theme for this year’s dinner is, “Unbought & Unbossed,” it echoes the sentiment of the first African American Woman to run for the presidency of the United States of America.   Each year we collectively reaffirm our commitment to justice and the pursuit of a society where we all thrive together. Having devised a comprehensive plan to propel justice forward throughout the year, we implement the lessons learned back to our communities.
