Allen P. Vital, executive director of the Alabama A&M University Foundation, will be taking on additional duties as interim vice president for marketing, communication, and advancement. Dr. Vital earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He holds a master’s degree in community counseling from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and a Ph.D. in urban higher education from Jackson State University in Mississippi. Kenya Faulkner is the new chief compliance officer at Emory University in Atlanta. She was the chief ethics and compliance officer at Pennsylvania State University. She is the former chief integrity officer for the Treasury Department of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Faulkner received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Niagara University in New York and a juris doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Kinamo Lomon, director of public safety for the Willingboro, New Jersey, police department, has been named the director of operations for the Department of Public Safety at Princeton University in New Jersey.
