A Trio of African American Faculty Members Who Have Been Assigned New Duties

Leon Prieto, an associate professor of management at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia, has been named an associate research fellow at the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge in England.  Dr. Prieto joined the faculty at Clayton State in 2012 after teaching at Savannah State University in Georgia. Dr. Prieto is a graduate of Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He earned an MBA at Georgia Southern University and a Ph.D. in human resource and leadership development from Louisiana State University. Adrienne Morgan, assistant dean for medical education diversity and inclusion and an assistant professor in the division of Medical Humanities and Bioethics in the School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Rochester in New York, has been named associate vice president in the university’s Office of Equity and Inclusion. Dr. Morgan earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds a master’s degree in cross-disciplinary professional studies from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Ph.D in higher education from the Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the University of Rochester.
