Hands Off Africa coalition.On Wednesday, January 25 at 10am, the following resolution will be presented to a special hearing of the St. Louis Board of Alderman Public Safety Committee for review prior to presentation to the full Board. Community leaders and members will present their case in support of the resolution.The “Dred Scott City of Refuge” resolution is modeled on successful Sanctuary City resolutions adopted by municipalities across the U.S. that pledge non-cooperation by local governments with federal immigration raids.
