Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and the City-County Council have introduced a $27.2 million spring fiscal initiative aimed at improving neighborhood quality across the city. Proposal No. 164, 2025, announced on May 5, designates funds for infrastructure, housing, public safety, and sustainability. Council President Vop Osili emphasized the importance of aligning the package with community needs. Significant allocations include $13 million for road enhancements, $4 million for snow removal, $2 million for parks, and $1 million for Urban Forest Preservation.
