Dive Into Summer: City Pools Make a Splash This Memorial Day Weekend

The much-anticipated summer aquatic season commences with the grand opening of Bolton and Winston Waterworks pools, coinciding with Memorial Day weekend from May 24-26. The pools will operate during these hours: Saturday, May 24, from noon to 6 p.m.; Sunday, May 25, 1 to 6 p.m.; and Monday, May 26, noon to 6 p.m. Bolton Pool offers dedicated senior swimming from 11 a.m. to noon each day, followed by general swim hours from noon to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Newly inaugurated adult water fitness classes begin on May 27, occurring Monday through Friday at 11 a.m., with a fee of $3 plus the cost of pool entry. Other facilities, such as Kimberley Park and Long Creek, will open on May 31. Daily fees stand at $3 for adults and $2 for children, while seniors aged 60 and above can swim for free with a city-issued pass.
