I Got You On Tape Buddy: Black Arizona Pastor Was Approached By White Lawn Worker And Called Dumb Ni***r

A Black pastor from Arizona captured a disturbing encounter in which a man approached him and hurled a racial slur following a previous altercation involving a hose. Pastor Paul Abram, of Southern Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in south Phoenix, stated that he was tending to the dirt along his property’s easement to mitigate dust when he was confronted by Brian Merrill, who was reportedly hired to clear weeds on the adjacent easement. The now-viral video reveals Merrill, driving up in his SUV, exclaiming, “This is our easement here. We don’t want water on our side. Dumb n****r.” After parking, Merrill appeared to complain on the phone. Abram, aged 62, reflected, “At this stage, I wish to exemplify decency... Disagreement is acceptable, but racial slurs are unjustifiable.” Their conflict wasn't unprecedented; surveillance footage from the day before captured Merrill shoving Abram and spraying him with water.
