Paul C. Clement, a professor of economics and chair of the department of social sciences at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, has been selected as the Higher Education Member of the Year by the New York State United Teachers, an organization of more than 600,000 members who are in, or retired from, New York’s schools, colleges, and health care facilities. Dr. Clement is a graduate of Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
