These fatalities illustrate a concerning trend of Israel targeting media professionals.According to CPJ, among the deceased are Hussam Al-Masri, a freelancer for Reuters; Al Jazeera camera operator Mohammed Salama; Mariam Abu Dagga, an independent photojournalist collaborating with the Associated Press; and Moaz Abu Taha, a video journalist. They perished during two Israeli attacks on Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, Gaza.
