A condolence book for Winston Springer Sr. is open for signing in the Government Information Service (GIS) lobby.
The former journalist and presenter for the Government Information Service died this week.
“We welcome members of the public whose lives he has touched to express condolences,” a government statement on his passing said.
“He was a cherished colleague known for his outstanding contributions to the media landscape of our country. As a former General Manager of Radio Saint Lucia, he helped to shape the media industry in Saint Lucia. He was a pillar of the community, providing a voice for the people and promoting national development through his work in communications and outreach,” the statement observed.
It said Winston Springer Sr. will be remembered for his dedication to his profession and his unwavering commitment to his country.
” His contributions to Saint Lucia will not be forgotten, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come,” the statement noted.
The Ministry of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture, and Information extended ‘deepest condolences’ on Springer’s passing.
