Donald Trump Whines About Rule Changes That Prevent Him From Winning The Nobel Peace Prize

Donald Trump believes the Nobel Peace Prize remains elusive due to the committee continuously altering its standards. During a Cabinet meeting on December 2, he asserted that his achievements should qualify him for recognition that currently escapes him.The former president stated, “Every time I conclude a war, they assert, 'If President Trump concludes that war, he'll earn the Nobel Prize.' I achieve that — 'Well, he won't earn it for this war, but should he ever achieve…'” Trump claims his administration ended eight conflicts, asserting these accomplishments meet the Nobel Committee’s criteria for honoring those who promote peace. He noted, “Now they say, 'If he ever resolves the Russia-Ukraine conflict, he’ll win the Nobel Prize.' What about the other eight wars? I should receive the Nobel for them, but I don’t want to seem greedy.” Critics suggest Trump's obsession with the prize reflects jealousy towards former President Obama, who was awarded it in 2009.
