However, this year has been marked by tragedy for a predominantly Black community on the West Coast, particularly following a catastrophic fire that left numerous residents in the Los Angeles area homeless. January 7 will signify the first anniversary of the Eaton Fire. As families seek to regain stability, here are some organizations dedicated to supporting Black residents in Altadena and Pasadena. The Legacy Land Project aims to foster community resilience and equitable recovery. Project Passion focuses on resource sharing and essential support for displaced families. The Eaton Fire Collaborative unites various local entities to assist the affected communities.
