Just days ahead of Mother’s Day, Anita ‘Boss Lady’ Dean Arnette, a seasoned voice at The Light radio station, will crown the 2025 Mother of the Year. Since 2000, listeners have submitted heartfelt nominations. The eagerly awaited announcement occurs at The Light’s 25th Annual Mother’s Day Celebration on May 8 at noon, hosted at The Enterprise Conference and Event Center.The event has expanded dramatically, now attracting large crowds eager for good seats. Dean Arnette and her team devote countless hours to reviewing numerous submissions. “This started as a modest celebration, but with faithfulness, God has made it a grand event—a true celebration of life,” Dean Arnette shared in 2018. This year’s theme, “As a Mother, I Trust in God,” guides letter submissions for the contest.
