Joliet City Council to vote Tuesday on mayor's pick for at-large seat

Joliet Mayor Bob O'Dekirk has made his pick to replace Don "Duck" Dickinson, who abruptly resigned from the City Council on Nov. 23. O'Dekirk has selected Todd Wooten, a Joliet Police and Fire Commissioner to fill the now vacant seat. The mayor's appointment will require approval from the City Council. The council is expected to vote on the mayor's appointment at Tuesday's City Council meeting.
