Kamilla Alexander was appointed associate director of Ph.D. and postdoctoral programs at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in Baltimore. She is an assistant professor who holds a joint appointment in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on prevention of sexual health outcome disparities. Dr. Alexander is a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Kenneth Anderson, a professor in the department of curriculum and instruction in the School of Education at Howard University in Washington, D.C., was given the additional duties as associate provost for undergraduate studies at the university. He joined the Howard University faculty in 2007. Dr. Anderson holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He holds a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from North Carolina State University. Lisa Armstrong is joining the journalism faculty at the University of California, Berkeley.
