Emergency personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) rushed a male pedestrian to the OKEU Hospital Sunday after a vehicle struck him at Bois D’Orange.
A Gros Islet fire station crew responded after receiving the accident report at about 6:00 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the accident were not immediately apparent.
But a social media video showed the victim on the ground with anxious individuals at his side.
Two male voices off-camera urge them not to touch or shift the injured man.
Earlier in the day, a vehicle plunged over a precipice at Sarrot, Bexon, ejecting the driver, who was unresponsive when emergency personnel transported him to the hospital.
Also, on Sunday, a motorcyclist sustained injuries due to a collision with a car at Ravine Poisson, Bexon.
