But it’s still considered a crime and people can get slapped with a misdemeanor or a felony charge when caught (not to mention the possibility of getting a fine or jail time). That’s really want this guy wanted to be called as he would tag various buildings, signs, lamp posts, even a couch calling himself the “Penis Man” all over Tempe. This man put SO MUCH of his artwork all over town, it caught the attention of local news stations. While some people thought it was pretty funny, most people were annoyed by this & concerned about little children seeing these pieces of art. Eventually the Arizona “Penis Man” got caught In January 2020, a 39 year old man, Dustin Shomer, was arrested on suspicion on charges of aggravated criminal damage & trespassing.
