Rep. Jasmine Crockett slams GOP lawmaker who called Kamala Harris DEI hire

On Monday (July 8), Crockett appeared on MSNBC’s Reid Out, where she slammed Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R) for calling Harris a “DEI vice president.” Roy made the comment on Fox Business as he criticized Harris amid talks of her replacing President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee for president. “If you just listen to what they say, it will tell you everything that you need to know,” Crockett said Monday. “Number one, you can obviously see that he’s ignorant as all get-out.
