Annual Radical Change Banquet to Recognize Rev. Edwin C. Sanders, II

Rev. Edwin C. Sanders, II will receive the prestigious Tower of Justice award for Transformative Education at the Radical Change Banquet, taking place on October 16th from 6 to 10 PM. As the Founder and Senior Servant of the Metropolitan Interdenominational Church, established in 1981 in Nashville, Tennessee, Rev. Sanders' congregation embodies a philosophy of inclusivity, welcoming a diverse array of individuals and ensuring no one feels alienated. Metropolitan's outreach initiatives focus on critical issues such as substance abuse, child advocacy, sexual violence prevention, and harm reduction. In addition to his pastoral role, Rev. Sanders has contributed significantly as a Pastoral Counselor for the Meharry Medical College Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program, led the Southern Prison Ministry, and served as Dean of the Chapel at Fisk University.
