Saint Lucia Records First Homicide For 2025

At about 9:20 pm on Thursday, Saint Lucia police responded to a report of a shooting at Barre Denis, Castries, and learned that a 22-year-old man had succumbed to apparent gunshot injuries. Investigators have identified the deceased as Gabriel Junior Henry who, according to reports, was sitting on his verandah when he came under attack. He was conveyed to the OKEU Hospital where he succumbed. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has urged anyone with information regarding the country’s first homicide for 2025 to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 456-3770.
