For four decades Eric was a trusted and familiar voice who connected viewers from across the city, bringing us together through his dedication to journalism. As both a friend and colleague, I had the privilege of working alongside Eric at WWL-TV, where his kindness, quirky sense of humor and unwavering professionalism left a lasting impact, Michelle shared. Marc recalled; I fondly remember being interviewed by Eric many times over the years. I appreciated his ability to ask challenging questions while creating space for meaningful dialogue. Eric’s legacy is one of integrity, resilience, and compassion. He will be dearly missed, but his contributions to New Orleans and journalism will never be forgotten.
