A St. Mary’s College (SMC) student stabbed on Micoud Street, Castries, Friday afternoon ‘did not sustain life-threatening injuries’, according to an individual familiar with the incident.
Emergency responders from the Saint Lucia Fire Service Headquarters in Castries rushed the 15-year-old to the OKEU Hospital in stable condition after receiving a call for assistance after 3:00 p.m.
The teenager sustained two penetrating wounds to the left arm and one to the waist.
According to reports, another student allegedly stabbed him due to a months-long dispute.
However, whether the alleged assailant attended the same school was not immediately apparent.
Police are investigating the incident.
