Twenty-five-year-old Natrani Narain, also known as Monica, and her infant reported missing from their Plateau, Babonneau residence on March 10, 2023, have been found in a house in Castries. And police have launched an investigation into the matter. “Thank God. They were at a friend,” Narain’s stepmother Kamaldai Hemraj told St Lucia Times. According to Hemraj, someone called a family member who picked up Narain and her infant on Tuesday night. The stepmother told St Lucia Times that the information she received was that the baby girl appeared to have lost weight and seemed not to have been cleaned for days. “She had a bad smell,” Hemraj stated regarding the infant. Hemraj had told St Lucia Times earlier that it was not the first time Narain, originally from Guyana, had gone missing.
