Approximately four days ago, Lani G—self-identified as a Midwest nomad on social media—stopped to utilize a public restroom near a major interstate. Captured on video, an older white man menaced Lani G, threatening to falsely accuse him of attempted murder. “All I asked was if bro could open the door so I could use the bathroom, you can’t make this up,” Lani wrote, alongside his video, which has since garnered over a million views. While wearing a patriotic Oklahoma City Philharmonic shirt, the man yelled obscenities and issued a dangerous threat. “You’re just walking around like the cops aren’t coming right now…” he stated, seemingly oblivious to the video’s potential impact.
