NASHVILLE, TN — Head men's basketball coach of Tennessee State University, Brian “Penny” Collins, has resigned immediately to take on a coaching role in the NBA. During this transition period, assistant coach Erik Buggs will assume the position of interim head coach.Collins’ exit concludes a noteworthy seven-year period during which he revitalized TSU men’s basketball, restoring its legacy of excellence.
