NASHVILLE, Tenn. — WeGo Public Transit is collaborating with the Davidson County District Attorney’s Office to facilitate court attendance for crime witnesses facing transportation challenges. Through zTrip, WeGo Access will offer complimentary rides to support those linked with the Vulnerable Adult Protective Investigative Team and Victim Witness/Prosecution Support Divisions. "Ensuring access to our courts is vital," stated General Glenn Funk. WeGo CEO Steve Bland emphasized the value of aiding residents unable to utilize standard bus services, while zTrip’s Hunter Thompson expressed pride in positively impacting the Nashville community. Requests will originate from the DA’s Office, with no charges for riders.
