Four African Americans Appointed to University Administrative Positions

Donald R. Pearsall has been appointed interim assistant vice president of auxiliary enterprise at historically Black Alabama A&M University. He has an extensive career in auxiliary services, most recently serving as associate vice president for facility operations, construction, and risk management at Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Pearsall holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from North Carolina Central University, an MBA from Strayer University in Alabama, and a master’s degree in project management from Western Carolina University. Padonda B. Webb has been named assistant vice chancellor of health and wellness in the Division of Student Affairs at historically Black North Carolina A&T State University. She has been with the university for the past eight years, most recently serving as executive director of the Dr. Alvin V. Blount Jr. Student Health Center. Dr. Webb is an alumna of North Carolina A&T State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She holds a master’s degree in nursing from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina, and a doctor of nursing practice degree from the University of South Alabama.
