Daryl D. Green is the new dean of the School of Business at Langston University in Oklahoma. Prior to joining the Langston community, Dr. Green worked at Oklahoma Baptist University for several years, holding the Dickinson Chair of Business in the Paul Dickinson School of Business. Earlier, Dr. Green worked at the U.S. Department of Energy for more than 27 years in the Environmental Management Program. Dr. Green holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He holds a master’s degree in organizational management from Tusculum College in Greenville, Tennessee, and a doctoral degree in strategic leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Shalei Simms has been named dean of the School of Business at the State University of New York at Old Westbury. She had served as the acting dean since the summer of 2021. Prior to her work as dean, Dr. Simms served the university in a variety of roles, including as director of graduate programs for the School of Business, as a tenured faculty member within the management, marketing and finance department, as vice-chair of the campus’ Faculty Senate and as interim assistant vice president of academic affairs.
