Photo: Getty Images A car crash on the set of Eddie Murphy’s upcoming movie The Pickup left eight crew members hospitalized, per PEOPLE. According to the Georgia State Patrol, first responders took eight people to hospitals following a two-vehicle collision during filming for The Pickup on Saturday (April 20) in Atlanta. The incident reportedly involved an armored GMC car and a BMW vehicle engaging in a stunt sequence for an action scene. Both cars flipped over and veered off the road after the crash. Two crew members were ejected from the armored car, sustaining life-threatening injuries. A third passenger also sustained serious injuries but wasn’t ejected from the vehicle. In total, five people were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and three were taken to WellStar Cobb Medical Center for treatment. A GoFundMe was reportedly set up for a crew member identified as Marvin Haven to raise money for his treatment. “We are so grateful and blessed that our beloved friend is still alive, but his road to recovery will undoubtedly be long, difficult, and faced with unimaginable challenges,” the GoFundMe campaign reads.
