Faith is about living our lives God’s ways. It involves elements of radical conviction, trust, and confidence. It’s about compassion, humility and love. True faith is about living our lives God’s way and not our way. For we are incapable of doing anything our way; our lives are entirely up to God.
Who is this God? It is the God whom we have scorned and offended; the God whom we have not trusted; the God we have disobeyed; and the God we have criticized. This God is the only One who can and will deliver us from ourselves.
How do we get to know this God? It all begins with a relationship. We come into relationship through our faith — in Jesus Christ. He wants us to use His strength, His ability, and His power. Why, because God wants to bless us; and God has a purpose for our lives!
