Actor Andre Braugher’s cause of death released

The cause of death for beloved actor Andre Braugher has been confirmed. He died of lung cancer. His representative announced earlier this week he had passed away on Dec. 11, following a brief illness. On Dec. 14, the spokesperson confirmed Braugher had been battling cancer, though it is unclear how long he had been ill. Earlier this week, Braugher’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” co-star Terry Crews led tributes to the actor, who is survived by his wife, Ami Brabson, and sons Michael, Isaiah and John. “Can’t believe you’re gone so soon,” Crews wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of Braugher. “I’m honored to have known you, laughed with you, worked with you and shared eight glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent. This hurts. You left us too soon.
