Afri-Diamond Alumni organise a Thanksgiving Ceremony, show gratitude to the Late Kato Lubwama

It was the first edition of the Afri-Diamond Thanksgiving Ceremony yesterday December 28, 2023 and the aroma of creativity filled the air as artists, musicians, and performers gathered for a special dinner at Hotel Africana.  Prince Daudi Kintu Wasajja was the Guest of Honour and in his speech, he announced that the Kabaka of Buganda had gifted the group with a piece of land where a theatre museum will be constructed. The Thanksgiving idea started with Ruth Wanyana who organised the directors and big figures in the Art Industry.  “After the demise of Kato Lubwama, I felt an excruciating pain and regret, I wished I had shown him my gratitude earlier,” she said in her heart warming video addressing the attendees.
