Alien graffiti artist makes contact with Laois with a brilliant letter

Someone should contact NASA because an alien appears to have made contact with earth, specifically with county Laois.
The graffiti artist responsible for yellow and pink alien figures painted all around urban Portlaoise, has responded to an offer of work by Portlaoise Tidy Towns, via the Leinster Express / Laois Live.
A letter was posted to the Leinster Express offices on Main Street, from ‘Pancake’, who now says he has departed on “extra terrestrial duties”.
The good news is Pancake says his artworks are worth “up to 800,000 of your earth currency in distant galaxies”.
The reply is directed to Vincent Booth, chairperson of Portlaoise Tidy Towns.
Vincent told the Leinster Express last month that they were interested in commissioning ‘Pancake’ to do murals to decorate the town.
The witty response in the style of a ransom letter, actually comes from a place a bit closer than outer space.
“Greetings Vincent, My alien comrades have informed me of the publication in this local communication medium about my offerings to the locality of Portlaoise.
“These paintings are quite valuable and I hope you cherish and preserve them as my time in the vicinity has ended. Some works fetch up to 800,000...
