Amber Cox takes the helm as COO and GM for Indiana Fever

The Indiana Fever are making significant changes to their front office as the team prepares for the upcoming WNBA season. Amber Cox has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, with her official start date set for Oct. 28. Cox brings a wealth of experience from various roles within the WNBA, most recently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of the Dallas Wings. Under her leadership, the Wings achieved franchise-best business metrics in 2023 and 2024, including seven sellouts and 97% capacity at the team’s arena. Prior to her time in Dallas, Cox held the position of Vice President for Sports with the Connecticut Sun.
