Indy-based photographer George Jesse premiered his new photo series, “Live, in Person, and Personal,” highlighting performers from subversive punk and hardcore bands.&

Jesse is known for compelling and candid portraits and has spent decades in the underground music scene. His new series highlights the world of punk and the artists that make it so vibrant.&
“This series is a celebration of the chaotic beauty and unfiltered expression found in punk and hardcore performances,” Jesse said. “Each photograph is a testament to the fierce individuality and raw energy of these artists, inviting viewers to experience the power and authenticity of their craft.”&
Jesse transitioned to photography from a successful 15-year career in merchandising and licensing. Prior to his work in the field, he worked with major movie and television shows and maintained his passion for music, which inspired him to create his newest collection.&

“Live, in Person, and Personal” will be up and available at Neidhammer Coffee at 2104 E. Washington St. on the city’s east side throughout this month. Described as “A visual celebration of the willfully different,” Jesse’s show is free to the public. Prints are...
