View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ashanti (@ashanti) Labor and delivery nurse Tina Bitangcol said in a recent interview with Parents.com, that she’s noticed a rise in her workplace of first-time mothers over 40. “We have a term in the obstetric community called AMA, which is ‘advanced maternal age’ for people over 35,” she explained. “But we have now started to hear another term more frequently, which is vAMA, which stands for ‘very advanced maternal age’.
