Attorney General-elect Jeff Jackson announces first senior leadership team hires

CHARLOTTE – Attorney General-elect and Rep. Jeff Jackson announced the first members of his senior leadership team at the North Carolina Department of Justice.  “I’m looking forward to getting started in January with this team of passionate, dedicated public servants,” said Attorney General-elect Jeff Jackson. “We are going to work with our colleagues at the Department of Justice to be a shield for the people of North Carolina and to defend their rights and freedoms.” Eric Wilson, Chief of Staff Eric has been Director of Administrative Services in the Office of Governor Roy Cooper since 2022. Previously, he served in the Office of the Governor as Deputy Director of Intergovernmental Affairs and as Special Assistant to the Governor. Before that, he held roles at the North Carolina Department of Justice under then-Attorney General Cooper and the University of North Carolina General Administration under then-President Tom Ross. Eric received his bachelor’s degree in political science from North Carolina State University and his master’s of public administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
