A Maryland man is facing assault allegations after reportedly aiming a firearm at a group of 12-year-old Christmas carolers in his neighborhood. Paul Susie, 58, faces charges including first and second-degree assault linked to the incident that occurred on November 22, as confirmed by Anne Arundel County Police. Allegations suggest that Susie pointed a gun at three young girls while they were singing carols. After knocking on his front door and identifying themselves, Susie allegedly approached a bay window, weapon in hand. Startled by the gun, the girls ran away. One girl’s mother subsequently notified the authorities. When police arrived and questioned Susie, he acknowledged having pointed the firearm at the children and admitted to drinking alcohol prior to their visit. Officers characterized Susie as “loud” and “belligerent.” A loaded .40-caliber Glock was found in a safe at his residence. He was later released on a $10,000 bond, facing multiple charges, including reckless endangerment. (Photo: Anne Arundel County Department of Detention Facilities/WUSA9)
