According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Tom Brady, who is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, has expressed interest in bringing his former coach Bill Belichick to the team. Pelissero reported that Brady and Belichick have discussed the possibility of a reunion.
Pelissero also mentioned that the Raiders are not the only team that has reached out to Belichick regarding a potential return to the NFL. Several other teams have inquired about his availability.
However, it seems that Belichick has no plans to leave his current position as the head coach for the University of North Carolina and it is worth noting that Belichick’s contract with the Tar Heels includes a $10 million buyout if he decides to leave before June 1, 2025.
