BIN Takes Action with ‘Saving Black Moms’ to Address Maternal Mortality Gap

The Black Information Network has launched an impactful awareness initiative titled “Saving Black Moms: A Maternal Health Crisis,” aimed at addressing the staggering rates of maternal mortality among Black women. The campaign features engaging media components, professional insights, and community collaborations. Notably, statistics reveal that in 2023, 50.3 Black women per 100,000 live births succumbed, compared to significantly lower rates among White, Hispanic, and Asian women. This campaign reflects the network's commitment to advocacy and partnership, striving for equitable maternal care.
