Bold mural bid for alleyway between pub and coffee shop

A large white wall in an alleyway in Cheltenham could be in line for a dramatic makeover. The route from between The Famous 1886 and Costa Coffee in Promenade to the rear of Copa bar in Regent Street is blighted by graffiti tagging. Despite numerous attempts to clean it off, the vandalism has continued and owner Keith Graham asked Cheltenham BID to help. This lead to an approach to the Cheltenham Paint Festival to get a mural painted as part of this year’s event. Margot De Nadaillac a French/Mexican artist that has painted all over the world has been approached to complete the mural. Margot is a self-taught French mural artist born in Grasse in 1990, planning documents submitted to Cheltenham Borough Council say.
