The Bank of Saint Lucia (BOSL) says it has ‘fully resolved’ the display issue which affected its Online and Mobile Banking applications. “We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Please rest assured that at no point was the security of your account or personal information compromised,” the financial institution said in an email to customers on Wednesday. A day earlier, BOSL had alerted customers to a ‘technical issue’ temporarily affecting how Online and Mobile Banking applications display account balances. It explained that, in some instances, account balances had shown excess funds, which may have caused some concern. However, BOSL assured customers that the issue pertained purely to a display error and did not affect their actual account balance in any way. The Bank also stated that customers could not have accessed the excess funds. With the problem resolved, BOSL thanked customers for their continued trust in the financial institution and urged them to contact the Bank if they had questions or concerns.
