Michigan Woman Accused Of Stabbing Teen After Credit Card Declined At Foot Locker

A teenager from Michigan was admitted to the hospital with a punctured lung following an attack by a 40-year-old woman inside a Kids Foot Locker store. The incident occurred on November 5 at the Southland Center Mall in Taylor, Michigan. According to police reports, the altercation erupted after the older woman’s credit card was declined, leading her to believe the girl had insulted her. Nineteen-year-old Suniya Jenkins recounted that she merely glanced into the store when she observed the woman in a heated argument. Despite her denial of any wrongdoing, the woman became confrontational. Jenkins detailed that while the dispute escalated, the assailant threatened to shoot her before brandishing a kitchen knife, resulting in multiple stab wounds to Jenkins’ neck, stomach, and thigh. The perpetrator was apprehended at the mall, with charges anticipated. Jenkins expressed a desire to pursue legal action but laments the potential repercussions on the woman’s children. Fortunately, Jenkins is on track for a complete recovery.
