Bodycam footage has emerged capturing the arrest of Rhode Island state prosecutor Devon Hogan Flanagan, who faced charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct. The incident unfolded on August 14 outside the Clarke Cook House restaurant, where staff reported that Flanagan and her friend, Veronica Hannan, refused to vacate the premises despite repeated requests.In the video, Flanagan repeatedly declares, “I’m an AG,” while attempting to assert her authority. After police officers inform the women they are trespassing, Flanagan engages in a heated exchange, insisting on her title and demanding an officer turn off his body camera, a request typically reserved for witnesses in non-confrontational encounters. The officer, unfazed by her claims, cuffed her after she continued to protest.Hannan displayed more resistance, yelling and kicking as officers attempted to subdue her. Flanagan and Hannan were charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
