The 35-year-old grabbed 97 catches for 823 yards and three scores during a lackluster season. Nate Taylor of The Athletic stated on The Fan 96.5 that if Travis Kelce were to return in 2025, the Chiefs would cut down on his offensive contribution. Andy Reid, the head coach, would like he play more of a supporting role rather than as the focal point. In an indication that he will at least play until his age-46 season, Kelce inked a two-year contract extension with the Chiefs last offseason.
