Ciceron Resident Charged For Illegal Gun, Ammunition

On Sunday, October 13, 2024, about 8:00 a.m. Officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department, responded to a report of Assault at Ciceron, Castries.
A male suspect was confronted during the course of the investigations.
A 9mm Ruger pistol and seven (7) rounds of 9mm of ammunition were seized, following a search of the premises. It was verified that sole occupant of the residence was not licensed to carry a firearm and as a consequence he was arrested.
Debuanne Jacob a twenty-six (26) year old resident of Ciceron, Castries, was arrested and charged for unlawfully being in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition.
