By Vada Stephens The Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame has been recently honored by Blavity as one of the top 11 museums and monuments nationwide that keep the spirit of Black music alive. From Prince’s Paisley Park to Detroit’s Motown, these institutions play a crucial role in preserving history and educating the public about significant cultural shifts and legacies, including music. In celebration of this prestigious recognition and the countdown to the first anniversary of the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame, Hamilton County Commission President Alicia Reece, and founder of the Walk of Fame, said this accolade comes just in time for Black Music Month celebrated the entire month of June.
