Dallas – The City of Dallas, in partnership with Dallas Independent School District, will sponsor a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) this weekend at Truett Elementary located 1810 Inadale Avenue in Dallas, 75228. The Center will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 and Sunday June 2, 2024.  The MARC will provide a centralized location for residents impacted by the recent storms to access essential recovery services from many governmental agencies and nongovernmental organizations. Representatives of voluntary organizations active in disaster relief efforts will be on hand to meet with residents in need.  “We recognize the severity of this storm and the impact of extended power outages,” said Travis Houston, Director of the Dallas Office of Emergency Management. “We are grateful to the partners who are helping us respond to the needs of affected residents,” Houston added.
