(Special to The Dallas Examiner) – The city of Dallas Planning and Development Department will host a public meeting to solicit feedback regarding digital kiosks Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dallas City Hall, Room L1 Auditorium, located at 1500 Marilla St. The public can attend in-person or virtually.
The meeting will focus on kiosks within the public rights-of-way, not private property. The city does not actively have any request for proposals for any additional kiosks. This meeting is the start of a new effort to research kiosks and their impact on the build environment.
The objectives of this meeting:
Allow the public to share perspectives on digital kiosks within city rights-of-way.
Share information about how digital kiosks have been introduced in other cities.
The meeting will be available with simultaneous Spanish interpretation and interactive polling. Register to attend at http://bit.ly/dgmeetingaug2024.
